Root Root Motorola Milestone 2.01?

Im getting a milestone from Telus (In Canada) and I know its updated to 2.01. Is there any exploits in this firmware?

I have updated today my phone to the 2.0.1 and after that applyed the root. It works just fine.

Which procedure did you use for root your milestone? Just the usual one of update.zip in SD and so on...can you explain it, please!

Thanks, now I have heard you cant apply custom roms on milestone is this true?

It is true... for the moment it is NOT possible to flash custom roms on Milestone... but I have a rumor heard that this will change with the update 2.1 that will come ende april for Milestone.

Can someone with UK Milestone confirm that rooting still works after updating to the 2.01 firmware.

I currently have a rooted Milestone running 2.0 and am being offered the over the air update to 2.01. I'm keen to be sure that the same milestone_root.zip will work with the UK version of the 2.01 firmware update. Has anyone done this successfully?
