Ya that's what I have been reading. I'm going to shut down all firewalls and anti virus Wed and try again. I will report the outcome. thanks

some have had success this way. some have also had to uninstall,and reinstall drivers.
make sure htc sync is removed completely,along with pdanet,easy tether,and any other program capable of comunicating with the phone. even itunes can cause prollems.

Ok. I will remove all programs. Every time the phone shuts down and re boots 2 windows pop up wanting to know what to do. I will shut it all down
