Root Root Noob, help with dalvik wipe

Hey everyone, I know I'm super noob at this, I just rooted my evo about an hour ago, and I want to free up some space on my internal memory, so I want to set up the darktremor thing. I am going by the instructions on how to do so in the stickied rooting for dummies, and it's telling me to wipe the dalvik cache and cache. I know I'm gonna do a facepalm when someone explains it to me, but could someone walk me through how to do this?

Reboot into recovery ( pull battery, insert it back in then volume down + power to get into h-boot, then select recovery)

Check which recovery you have
If amon Ra:
select wipe
wipe Cache
wipe Dalvik cache
go back to main menu
reboot

If clockworkmod:
Similar to above but Dalvik cache will be under an advanced tab


Someone with clockwork experience can tell the exact steps, I changed recoveries as soon as I rooted
