root or not to root.

I just got my samsung galaxy s4 mini. I am wondering if it's better to root my phone to save battery life or use a battery saving app? IVe went through and disabled a bunch of things that websites suggest. I would like to have my phone make it a day on a charge for me.

You will not be able to make really significant gains in battery life by rooting. Battery savers are usually ineffective or even counterproductive, actually using more power than they save. Avoid them.

Just be careful setting up the various options on your phone. You got a start on that by disabling some unused stuff. Relax and enjoy it.

ok.. i got everything on lowest setting possible and gotta figure out how to change sync options.. i just came from windows phone
