Root Problems?

Ok, so I rooted my samsung intercept and started deleting the useless virgin mobile apps like VM Live and other stuff like that, but I accidentally deleted my google download services and now I can't update or download anything to my phone. I tried factory reset and hard reset but neither worked. Any ideas what else I should do?

google download services ... you mean the play store?

if thats what you mean you can download it to sd and flash the google app from a custom recovery or push it to the device with adb/fastboot

Well i still have the market, its just i deleted a download service from google so I can't download or update anything. So, when I did my factory reset the market didn't update to play store and now I can't download anything. It just force closes

I'm glad that the useless apps are gone but i somehow need to get that download service firmware back, even if it means i get the virgin mobile apps back, because I can just delete them again.

if thats the case just reflash the stock software for your device

I tried it and it still didn't work. It's probably because i barely understood the directions and probably messed up on a step but I don't know what to do now?

You can install the stock zips (system, kernel, rom) from CWM recovery and reboot. make backups (if you havent already) just in case. This will unroot your device and such so you will have to do that over again

ok so i moved the downloadprovider.apk and the downloadprovider.odex into my system apps folder because these are the ones I accidentally deleted and I restarted my intercept, but when i check root explorer they don't show up. Any suggestions? Btw, I did the moving from the my files app because it doesn't show up in root explorer.

I just successfully moved downloadprovider.apk and downloadprovider.odex to my system apps but the market still isn't updating and it keeps force closing. I don't know what to do

Also, i found gostore in root explorer, is there any way to force the market to update by moving the gostore folder somewhere?
