Root Root question

So I tried to root my phone and before I even started I downloaded Android 1.0 drivers and it recognizes it normally but when I am in fastboot it doesnt recognize it just says waiting for device in the Windows 7 Command Prompt any ideas?

/sigh....and this forum so dead, I had an evo and that forum booms, I just knew this Nexus S forum would be busy but its dead as a doornail...sheesh

I had the same problem. If you are using the android sdk, you can find the usb drivers you need in there. Don't quote me but I think they are in the extras\google folder. Once you find them you have to manualy install them when using windows 7. Good luck mate!
