Root Root > Radio Hack > Unroot?

I am using easy tether to get my PS3 online, but after reading the description for the XDA Radio Hack, I was wondering if VZW can see that I am going on-line with the PS3 through my laptop.

My question is... Is it possible to unroot after applying the XDA Radio Hack and keep tethering enabled?

Please for the love of god don't use your phone for PS3 gaming.
Not only will it cause extra stress on your phone, it will cause you and all other players to lag and possibly disconnect from the game.

Aside from the above side effects...you don't even need to root to do the radio hack. With a 3G phone, you'd never have the ability to play a game online to its full potential.
