Found this in the Incredible forum on XDA last night
I think it is great that some folks have made img files to flash from recovery...but didn't really care for their image choices. I started looking for a way to do my own

Follow the directions in the xda thread. Just another find...and take note...I have not tested any of the other features and only recommend this for flashing a new splash img. If you have the right drivers he mentions in the instructions, and format the picture correctly, it works wonderfully.
I've done about 15 or so of them so far just testing it out.
follow the directions, use at your own risk, nandroid always and as usual consider donating to the dude because if you have the right drivers this makes it super easy.
