Root Root Vibrant running Froyo (Android 2.2)?

I recently upgraded my Vibrant to Froyo. Is there a root for Vibrant Froyo yet?

I'm new to the Android universe. I hail from iPhoneLand. What do you mean when you say "superonetouchroot"? Do you mean the One Click root?

Ive downloaded all three. I dont know what to do next

With the Super One Click you open the program on your pc, connect your phone via the usb cable and click the root button in the program. It's pretty simple.


That's how I rooted mine. My Su binary is outdated now though and can't get it to unroot to reroot and update. Everything still works though

It's best to start from 2.1 stock and putting a custom rom of your choice on your phone rather than just rooting only. Rooting doesnt really do much when your phone is stock.

Did you try Root Explorer? It will get privileges from Superuser.
