Im rooted and on gingerbread .573 want to upgrade to .588 so i can then upgrade to .595 someone please help! thanks!

uhhhh lets take a different route.
SBF back to Froyo
Root with Z4
Install D2 bootstrap
Apply 2 part zip to get to pre rooted .596
SBF back to Froyo
Root with Z4
Install D2 bootstrap
Apply 2 part zip to get to pre rooted .596

when you sbf back, just skip the activation process, and just install d2 bootstrapper (if you have the apk from koush website) and install z4root, reboot, root, then flash the .596 rooted ota files

It always helps to have all the necessary files on your sd card before starting, it makes things go much quicker
