I rooted and installed the Smoked Glass ROM here. And When I tried to use Handcent it still notified me through the default messaging app as well, even when turned off. Now, I deleted handcent and the messaging app notifies me in the status bar even when the message is already read and I have been getting two notifications now for the same thing. I think its a lingering handcent notification. Need help
