Root rooted and phone wont recognize sd card

Major issue here... help!

I AM ROOTED and the phone will not recognize the SD card through the phone or computer. I found this out trying to flash a new Rom through Rom manager.

It says I need to enter a new SD card.

How do I get it back working or unroot my phone from where I am now.

Does your computer recognize the sd card? It's most likely just a corrupted card and needs to be formatted. Try another sd card in your phone to be sure.

Thanks. I tried my SD card in another phone and it did not work. I tried his SD card in mine and it worked. How do I reformat the card if my phone and my computer won't read it.

I tried it at home and by using a card reader and that will not work either. I also tried using the cmd command and then formatting the drive the sd card would be connected to.


To help the madness... I accidently hit factory reset when trying to re-format from the card earlier in the day.... I am a mess.

Instead of exhausting your efforts on "reformatting the problem sd card", why not just buy a new one ?
