Root Rooted, but is there a task manager?

I've got the nook rooted, but now have a couple of questions.

I was able to download and install Amazon App store, but when I try to download apps it tells me that an SD card is required. I don't have one set up yet, and now I've got a few aps waiting to download. So, is there a way I can either cancel the downloads (perhaps a task manager), or a way to install them directly to the nook?

Or will this all just be a moon point once I get my SD card in there?

Just press your home or back button to get out of it.

No easy way to install an app that requires a sdcard w/o screwing up something else. Just buy one already... about $10 at Walmart. :D

Lol. I'm actually just going to use the one I rooted off of (only 2GB, but I think it'll be okay), I just haven't reformated it yet.

I wasn't asking about how to get back to the home screen (although that reminds me of another question), but rather down in the status bar is shows 3 files "downloading" but all stuck at 0. That's what I'm looking to cancel.

As for my other question, when I was looking for a way to stop them I went into the nook tools ap and then slected running aps (or something like that). Now ever time I go back into the tools it shows me that screen and I don't see how to get back to the main screen on the ap.

For your Market problem, find market where you manage applications (in settings) and clear data. Sorry, can't be more specific, don't have much experience with the rooted stock rom.

That sounds like the same place as I just described. In CM7 you tap the tab at the top to change from "downloaded apps", "running apps", "all apps", etc.

You have to do a bit of extra work to access App settings in B&N 1.4.1. I used AnyCut to create a shortcut to the Development control panel on my launcher screen. From there, I can access Manage Applications and clear data, etc.
