Root Rooted, can't backup

korsu

Newbie
Just rooted my Desire yesterday, all was very painless compared to my old Galaxy. Then I installed Titanium backup, it said I'm not rooted. But after downloading busybox TB worked ok. Next I tried to do backup on recovery but it failed. Can't remember lines it showed, I'll look again if required. Any solutions someone? Regards

Boot into HBOOT and check if you have PVT1, PVT3 or PVT4 listed at the top. If it's PVT4, you need to use AmonRA not CWM as your recovery

If you have PVT4 and an erasesize of 40,000 you must use amonRA. If it's erasesize of 20000, it doesnt matter.

Download "terminal emulator" and type

"Cat /proc/mtd" and press Enter If the erase size column shows 40,000 as all teh entries, download amonRA 2.0.1 - Link in the rooting guide or FAQ linked in my signature.

Please check this ^^

It was PVT4 and 40.000, other recovery solved the problem. If it was a problem, just not enough knowledge.
Thanks for help. And now to flash new ROM. You will hear about me...
