Rooted / Custom ROM / Buggy

Ok. So a friend of mine recently rooted and put CM7 on my phone.
I have a SGS2. Now, i noticed it comes with ADW, but i am using Go Launcher. The phone has been buggy all day. Must have restarted it like 20 times today. Freezes, apps freeze / force close. Camera is buggy / force closes.
Does anyone think that it is buggy because of Go Launcher?
No he says he used a stable version. He is thinking that we may have to install a nightly bid whatever that means.
Just wondering what anyone who has this set up thinks and or what can be done to fix it.

Gotta love those mysterious friends who do everything wrong.

Did your friend do a full-wipe before installing CM7 or did he just install it over what you already had? Go Launcher is supposed to work flawlessly on CM7 so that's not the problem.

I don't think installing a nightly build will improve your chances of stability since the nightly builds tend to be less stable

Do a full-wipe and re-install CM7.

Thanks. I'm not sure exactly what he did. We were watching the Super Bowl at the time lol.
I'll ask him to do a full-wipe and re-install and hope that it works.
Out of curiosity, how do you like your phone set up? Any issues and would you recommend that set up?
