Okay, so I rooted my phone. I then deleted programs like backup manager and everything was fine. I performed an update today without restoring those programs. the update failed, so I decided to factory reset my phone.
Now when I unlock my phone, I get a black screen with only the top drop down bar accessible.
I accessed market via voice commands and downloaded launcher pro to have some access to my phone. Now I have a home screen and access to menu items for debugging and such, but I still cant make calls and such.
I'm guessing I need to use adb to reinstall some of my missing programs, but I never used adb before. I have it downloaded etc. Can anyone walk me through getting all my necessary files to have my phone working at stock again?
EDIT: Nevermind. found that there was an official stock 2.2 release. Easy as pie
