rooted device set back to fabric setting

Hello Everybody,

I have an old galaxy s1 wich i didn't use for a long time and a friend of mine could use an other phone so i lend it to her.

To erase al personal data i've set the device back to standard settings.
But i forgot that i had rooted the phone and had OneClick lagfix running on it.

So without unrooting or undoing the lagfix i've set it back to standard settings.

Now there are some issues. I can't install the latest firmware update
and apps like facebook don't run very smooth.

is this problem caused by the root and is there a way to undo it now that i've set it back to standard settings?

Kind regards

welcome to AF!!!!!

i'm not to well versed on sammies when it comes to phones, but all a factory reset does is wipe data so it should not have affected much. and it should have no affect because you are rooted. i would try doing a factory reset in recovery, if you have one.
