I have rooted my Evo, but what's next for a newbie? What are the perks of being rooted? well in simple terms? Please help.

also the list that tube517 linked is a great source for roms. check out the staff picks for some great suggestions of roms. also the second post of the list has some great info about roms and kernels as well.

edit: not to mention the root guide sticky we have at the top of this forum.
