Root Rooted experiences

How may people have rooted their Vivid, and what are your experiences? I know that there have been great steps made over at XDA, inspite of the crazy stuff happening with the Devs...I love Sense, and I've heard that the rooted versions are much faster and more fluid than the att release. What do you guys know
