Root Rooted GB Stuck Bootloader Help!

Hey everyone,

So I got my Droid X last July and i've been rooted ever since it became and option. I was running Liberty 1.5 but then switched to Apex 1.41 to try it out. I've been on Apex since and with the development of a rooted GB release I decided why not, it's gingerbread!

The instructions are----

To get back to stock:

1. Grab the SBF File
You must start the process with your phone running the official 2.3.340. If you have already upgraded to gingerbread grab this 2.3.340 sbf file.... 2.3.340 Official SBF file

2. Grab RSDlite
You must use RSDLite to use the sbf file from step 1 .... RSDLite

3. Grab the Drivers

4. Run RSDLite and sbf your phone back to 2.3.340
5. go into recovery and wipe data (otherwise you will bootloop)

but instead I used this method to return to stock 2.3.340 maderstcok - OTA 2.3.340 update.zip

before applying this zip I did backups of everything and booted in recovery, doing a data and cache wipe. I applied the zip and everything went perfect. I rerooted, and booted into bootstrap once again, this time applying the GBrooted.zip
from Droid X Gingerbread (2.3.3) - Release - PreRooted

on both files I checked to make sure they are the correct file size and they matched perfectly. I flashed to the gingerbread zip and after it was done I went back using the back button and hit reboot now. It rebooted and presented me with the red moto logo, then the screen that came up is black with white text reading:
Bootloader
30.04
Err: A5,69,35,00,27
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

trying to boot into clockwork doesn't work. Battery pull doesn't work. I pulled battery because I guess in this state the phone doesn't charge the battery. Any help would be much appreciated!

I had the same problem trying to go straight to GB from apex. Grab RSDLite, the full SBF download, and flash your phone through RSDLite. Once you are on 2.3.340, root, install droidXBootstrapper, and install the GB Rooted zip file. That worked for me when I was in your exact same situation.

Can you sbf, then run gingerbread pre-root? Also, before you flashed GB did you factory/data reset from Clockwork? Let us know. We'll get you up and running.

I'm going to try to SBF, links to rsd 4.9 and a 2.3.340 sbf would be awesome though, as I generally find links/methods a mess on this forum, and I'll check out roolers guide as well. I did do a factory reset, and in response to post #2. I flashed the GB release from stock 2.3.340. I returned to stock via this method maderstcok - OTA 2.3.340 update.zip

Also something I forgot to mention. When I was up and running on stock before I tried flashing to the GBzip, I didn't bother to activate my phone with verizon, as I figured I would just do it when I had GB installed.

Thanks for the help so far, I know that once Steven is on board, everything will be resolved.
