Rooted HTC Hero getting update notification

Hi, I just rooted my Hero about a week ago. I installed LiquidSense 2.1 and I'm loving it. I started getting a notification for a system update.

This is what is says: Would you like to download the following system software update? System Upgrade to 2.32.651.2 (13.77MB)-FOTA update
Is this the default HTC update or is it an update for my current ROM?

I was too worried that it would reset my phone back to the default HTC ROM so I keep ignoring it.

Then i figured I better ask someone, so here I am. Please help shed some light on this and tell me if I should download this upgrade!

Simply disregard it for now, I am not sure if there is a way to disable it, but I am sure someone will let you know

Settings > About Phone > System Updates > HTC software update then uncheck the box

Yes it is, thus the reason why it has to be unchecked
