Root Rooted my Ally, now have a message for a Software Upgrade?

I recently rooted my Ally, and put it on Velocity. But today, I got a message saying I have an Android Software Upgrade VS740ZVE - I downloaded it, but have yet to restart and install. Does anyone know what kind of upgrade this is? Should I go back to "stock" ? I'm new to the whole rooting thing, and now I'm really confused as to what to do next. Also, someone mentioned that I'm on a old version Velocity (1.0). If anyone can tell me what to do about the upgrade or suggestions about the Velocity thing, that'd be great! Thanks so much!

Its a message that they think you are still using an older version of their VS740 ZVD or older software. They actually fixed it in Velocity 1.2. It was quite annoying but will not install if you modded/rooted and installed a different recovery. If you want it totally gone then update to velocity 1.2. Search around somewhere and they have a script fix also but I havent been able to get it to work.

Okay, never mind, I got Velocity 1.2 up and running on my phone. Someone suggested that I can make changes to the fonts and what not, by going to the Terminal Emulator and messing with Cosmetic Changes. Can anyone tell me how to go about that, what to type in once I open the Terminal Em.? Also, any other little suggestions would be great. I noticed there's two new options in my Settings - Velocity Toolkit and ADWLauncher. Is there anything I should know/do in those menus? Little things to make the phone quicker, or battery life last longer? Any little tips would be great, plus they'll help me learn and pick up on all this stuff. Thanks =)

Go into velocity toolkit, open terminal emulator, type "velocity" hit enter. retry several times if you have connection problems. its pretty self explanatory from that point. Have Fun!
