I have a G Tablet. I installed clockworkmod and cyan 6.1 according to this site:
Viewsonic G Tablet: Full Update Guide - CyanogenMod Wiki
When I tried to install the Google Apps addon I kept getting an error, so I thought that redoing things would be a good idea.. so I set the system back to the sys defaults using the Viewsonic ROM.
Now when I try and run z4root I get an error that apps that aren't downloaded from the android market can't open. I know there is a check box to allow this to happen; however the option isnt there anymore. Strange.
I tried to re-install clockworkmod (which doesnt work anymore to boot from either) but I can't copy update.zip and recovery to the root of the device memory (probalby cuz its not rooted?)
I like the viewsonic stock os, but the market sucks.
HELP - PLEASE. I just want a good working tablet that can get on the android market.
