Rooted stock rom OV, no connect to PC or App Inventor

I got the drivers for windows from LG

windows XP

PC isn't connecting right and neither is the App Inventor program.


Id really like to be able to see the preview on the phone as you build the app.

Got it to work for a sec on a 2ND XP laptop but only for a sec, the program starts to connect to the phone then its gone.

need to find a spare $100 for a used Google Nexus

Do you have the C:\SDK\platform-tools\adb.exe in your system path?
Do you have the C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_33\bin\java.exe in your system path?
Is your SDK up to date? Have you used the SDK Manager found in the SDK folder to download everything necessary?

you lost me bud, didn't say anything about that on the app inventor install page.

Now is the time to get into that stuff, it so much reminds me of the late 80s in school showing us on apple IIs how easy it was to make a simple program. [still have a few print outs of those goto line 10 stuff]

I should of caught on then, Im catching on now, doesn't take allot to do something simple, which will lead to more with time.
