Root rooted yesterday how to activate phone?

I was successful at rooting but unable to upgrade the radio. But that is a separate issue. How do I reactivate my phone? I am using the cyanogen rom. It won't let me dial the 1 after the *228 starts.

After you dial *228 and the recording comes on hold the menu key and your keyboard should pull up. Hope this helps.

Dial *22899 and it will do both options without you having to press anything else. Phone will reboot once this is complete
