Root Rooting 2.2

I am considering rooting my phone again as the 2.2 upgrade wiped my root, I am wondering as my boot loader has been upgraded to 0.93 could I just run unrevoked whilst using my gold card and root my phone again or does this envolve downgrading the boot loader as if it does I am not confident enough to start messing around with different boot loaders and downgrading software.

To root you don't need a gold card and just use unrEVOked 3.21 - gold card is only needed if using a different stock ROM to what originally came with the phone

If your original Rom.was branded though, making a gold card.would be.prudent
