Root Rooting 2.3.6

Hi All,

I have a TransformUltra I rooted a while ago. The dreaded update screen kept coming up and I did some research and changed some settings while as su that were supposed to prevent the update service from running, but it still updated the phone to 2.3.6. I am now trying to root again.

My question to you guys: how are you dealing with this? Do you plan to keep updating and root the phone each time or just find a way to prevent the updates?

I have already downloaded Odin, but I have been unable to find a good download link for Transformultra.ops and CWMRecovery.tar. Does anyone have some active links for these?

As far as rooting the phone or loosing root everytime we get an update that's something we have to deal with ...

Remember the phone is ours but in some way is still Samsung ,Spring or Boost property so they are going to do anything to keep the phone to their liking ... that's when developers come to save our phones ...
