Rooting a non-Sprint CDMA Hero

Hi all, first post, but I've been lurking for a while. I seem to be having trouble rooting my phone, all the one click programs for the CDMA Hero seem to be only for sprint builds, I got my phone through a smaller network (CREDO Mobile) and every root program I've tried seems to fail. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks! Jerad
 
Well,the instructions in the first post on that thread didn't seem to work, I'll read through the rest of the thread later to see if there's any more help.
 
Nevermind, those directions did work, I misread them. when it says to unzip the hack to the sda tools directory, they mean to put the files from the unzipped folder into that directory, not the folder itself. Thanks again for your help!
