Here is a good link to follow. Make sure you read this thread and the thread he made his guide from. The more you know, the easier it is.
Don't worry when things go wrong. I almost had a few heartattacks through the process, but I am now running LeeDroid with no issues. It probably should take around an hour to 2 hours, I made a few mistakes and took maybe 4. Not somethign to try when your pressed for time, but worth it to be running 2.2 on your telus phone.
