Root Rooting after first droid died

I rooted my bionic after 3 weeks of purchase and it died 4 days later no signs of life. Could it have been root related? Wanna root again but nervous!

I moved this thread to the Droid Bionic All Things Root forum.

I do not think that by rooting it would have caused your phone to die as I have never heard of that being the case but if it is a known hazard with your phone I am sure the guys here would be able to confirm that.
