Root Rooting and overclocking question.

I just rooted my LG Esteem and now I'm looking to overclock my cpu. So basically all I have to do is download ROM Manager, install CWM, and then download any of the overclocked Kernels and throw it on my SD card and boot-up from there right??? I know I'm probably repeating a million other post and I apologize. Any help is appreciated!

If you're running ZVD...yes, do everything up until installing CWM then DO A BACKUP!!! sorry, had to stress that part, now we can continue.......

There are no kernels built from ZVD source, so the FIX included on ZVD to solve the powercycling issues will be "erased" by installing a custom/overclocked kernel built from ZVC source. In other words, you can go and install Plague's 2.0 or 2.2ghz kernels which i tested both and they work fine, just remember what i mentioned about the FIX. If i were you and had no a lot of experience in the root world, i'd wait on kernels for now

Yup. Flash cwr, put the kernel on you sd card. Reboot into recovery, go to install zip from sd> choose zip from sd and select the kernel and confirm the flash. Once done just reboot.
