Root Rooting and Video

Hey all,
I read in one of the rooting threads a while back that people that rooted their phones had trouble viewing videos put onto the SD card (ie movies, tv shows, etc) Have any of you had issues with this?
Also, if I have purchased apps what happens when I root? Can I reinstall the app for free?

Well I can't speak for everyone, but I've never had problems viewing videos. If you ever do have problems with the gallery, you can always browse for the video in Astro.

Yes, apps get backed up on your Google account. No need to purchase again.
