Root Rooting Android Emulator and SDK

OK, so I have finally been playing around with the AVD and created a Virtual Android...

What I want to do is either put a custom ROM on it like a cynogenmod9 rom or just have it to where I can have ROOT access to it as well... Is there a way to flash CWM recovery on it so I can just do it like that?

I looked around for awhile on Google for something, but seems like none of them were helping me with Win7x64... they seemed to be old tutorals for earlier versions of SDK, etc.

Just wanted to get pointed in the right direction so I could play around with this... and it would be nice to have the market on here... but I guess if I could just flash a ROM to this virtual device it would have all the goodies, right?

Thanks in advance...

or am I way in over my head to be trying this?

That sounds fantastic lol! You can set the emulator up to nearly specific devices. Some of the Samsung code I kinda think is proprietary but use the android source and I think you could set up the prevail and then load the OS. Check out building custom Rooms on YouTube its under Android internals for pretty much step by step

Ok thank you.. I will give another look for it! :)
