Rooting, custom roms and bluetooth (especially rsap)

I understand the Galaxy S2 is one of the few phones with built-in rsap bluetooth support (i.e. accessing the contacts and making phone calls through a bluetooth device, without which most sat-navs and car kits won't work at all) and I have a few questions:

If I root the phone but don't install a custom rom, will I lose rsap?

Which custom roms support rsap?

Has anyone tried this app? Compatibility It should work with roms which don't support rsap but I couldn't find any posts confirming it does

Speaking of bluetooth in general, do you know which ROMs have the best bluetooth support? I read some comments about custom ROMs not connecting to an already paired bluetooth device automatically, but instead requiring manual connection every time.

Thanks a lot!

PS I can't try myself as I don't have a Galaxy s2 yet. I am considering getting one but would like to clarify these points first.

Now that I have a Galaxy S2 I tried myself. Bluetooth rsap works with my TomTom Go Live 1000 on the stock rom (unrooted), on the phone unrooted with the chainfire method, and on the MIUI rom. I didn't have to install www.android-rsap.com or anything else. Posting here for the record, hoping this can be useful to others.
