Root Rooting does not happen

I followed this:-

I get the PASS message in Odin but the tab 2 10.1 just boots to The Samsung 4.2.2

Root Checker says not rooted.

Odin and the tablet seemed to go through the necessary routines but the root just did not take!!

Any advice please?

Early in the rooting process I get this windows message on my Win 7 64bit PC.

Is this because the USB does not like the rooting but carries on anyway?

I have installed Kies and it recognises the tablet as does Windows Explorer.

i rooted my tab2s fine with kingo root. check it out, its fairly straight forward.

Thank you. Used Kingo and now Root Checker says rooted.
