Root rooting evo 4g

I cant seem to get my evo 4g to root. I have been trying using the HTCdev method. i get to this point and thats it.
c:\Android>fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
error: cannot load 'Unlock_code.bin'

welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!
can you be more specific? what is going? what happens when you try and unlock the boatloader. the more info you can give us the better we can help you.
