Root Rooting HTC Desire Telus

Hello, I have a Telus HTC Desire and i want a little info on rooting. I am looking into rooting my phone and I want to make sure i can unroot it. Is there any guide that has how to root and unroot it.I have looked at Unrevoked 3.21 but i need a way to unroot it.

The luck i have with phones, I need a way to unroot it so i can use my warrenty at Best Buy.
 
You can only unroot with an RUU which are all listed here

You need to find one that matches your settings>about phone build number. If you cant find one, chances are one doesnt exist and you cant unroot.

Yep. The numbers are the same. Also, the red ones indicate the carrier. So Telus is always going to be 661 on HTC desires.
 
Yep, that RUU will unroot you

A gold card is needed if an RUU wasn't available as you'd need to flash a stock WWE RUU to unroot but in your case you don't need one
 
Hey i am a Android newb... i have the exact same build as you "Max63094" on my HTC desire, what method did you use to root your phone? i want to do the same...
