Root Rooting issue

Hey guys so I tried to root my device and was able to get to the end where u need to paste the zip file onto the sd card and such, for whatever reason when you are suppose to mount the phone to the computer to be used as a disk drive I was not able to do that my only option was unmount or go back but I was able to find the f disk drive on my computer so I pasted the zip folder on that drive and it showed up on my phone but when i tried to open it on the phone it said install aborted but my phone does show revolutionary on top with s-off in hboot not sure what i did wrong please help.

Sounds like you need to flash a recovery

Where did you see the install aborted error? In he command window while revolutionary was running? Or in clockwork recovery while trying flash superuser?

If you are s-off,that's the important thing
