Hi, I know this could be the wrong forum but it seems legit because I need support.
I have been trying all day to root and then install either Cyanogenmod 7.1 or the ACS ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) and I have failed almost 30 times. So I signed up and want to see if there is some help that you guys can provide me.
I've used SuperOneClick, Odin, One Click and then also z4root.
On a couple of tries I successful got it rooted but when I went to getting Cyanogenmod installed I came up with:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
Now I've went back all the way to 2.1 Froyo and tried didn't work and worked my way back up, doing everything that I was shown to do. I have watched many videos and I can't get this signature verification to go away. Again I HAVE READ MANY POSTS.
Please help,
