Root Rooting noob!!!!

your best bet is to try apex first

and remember, with droid x bootstrapper
make sure you uncheck usb debugging
and then go back to the app
hit bootstrap recovery
allow super user permission
then hit ok for success

then hit reboot recovery
then wipe data/factory data reset
then hit
wipe cache partition
then hit
install zip from sdcard
then
choose zip from sdcard
and locate the apex file you just downloaded and once its installed, hit reboot system now, and then your done
 
apex is near the top of the rom/theme list
you need to check that

apex is made by one of our members who used to be a very well respected mod, and is still a well respected member, its by far one of the best roms out there
 
dont worry about overclocking, its something you need to get more involved with, i can tell you from first hand, you dont need to overclock, the phone is a powerhouse as it is, no need to make it (slightly)faster
 
not to be buggin u but other then apex wat other roms would b nice if i dnt like , like the top 3 in your opinion and i wnt bother with overclockin
 
its not my daily, i switch alot, i dont have a daily rom, im a flashaholic and i cant stop flashing different roms, and trying different setups, i have been at this alot longer than you, its obvious im not going to stick with one, and do this on a daily basis, but i need to get going, i got things to do, if you need more help send me a private message
