titanium wasworking i updated busybox... just couldnt uninstall protected apps however adb shell then rm /system/app/xxxx.apk works thanks....now just gotta figure out how to force Google maps to sd .... probably through adb if i can find the apk for it time to google
Check the Superuser app to make sure that Titanium is granted Superuser permissions. Can't really think of anything else as to why Titanium isn't working. Clearly you are rooted. This is weird.
this is my first time using titanium... didnt kno it could move apps to sd... i just uninstalled it with adb and then installed the apk through adb and specified sd as install location manually all good now... still olny have 52mb of free space tho... i dont think i can remove much more
On 2.1, go to Settings-->About Phone-->Build Number and note it down somewhere.
The build number should be X.XXX.XX.(AAP or EMEA or ROG or FIDO).YYYY
Note down the (AAP or EMEA or ROG or FIDO).YYYY part of it and try to find a matching version here- Step5
Download the appropriate upgrade package for your phone and follow the instructions on the PDF inside that package. This will update your phone to 2.2. If it is not available, let me know and I will give you instructions on an alternate method of getting it done.
If you want to root it afterwards, then follow these instructions.

If Arabic support is not important to you, then try downloading the installers for both 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1 or EMEA.CUS1 and see which one works (I believe that GEN1 should work). If Arabic support is important to you, then just hold off on it and let me know, and I'll see if I can find a solution.
