As of 7/7/2010, Unrevoked root method DOES NOT work. It was broken by OTA 1.47.651.1
If you would like to try, look at the first link in my signature, but you do need to be comfortable with loosing all of your settings and apps and able to run a command line utility. If you're having problems post in that thread at xda.
