Root rooting problems on xperia x8

hi ppl
i am having a lot of problems in rooting my x8
i've tried three apps for rooting

1)superoneclick:- when i click the root button it says the usb driver is'nt installed, on clicking "install driver" a message saying "no more data" appears.

2)universal androot:- on clicking root it says no fu goo

3)z4 root:-on clicking root it strangely just closes and makes no change

my phone is upgraded to 2.1

google for the driver first, install it.. then you will be able to root your device.

i cant find the driver............one from the sony developers site doesn't open

install driver with pc compinion.

When the system prompts you to find the drivers by yourself, just point to the folder into which you extracted the zip file. Afterwards, restart your computer, and that should do the trick. Worked for me, rooted the phone without any issues.
