Root Rooting Questions

This is my first Android phone and before this I had the iPhone 3G.

I'm thinking of rooting but before I do I want to ask a couple of questions.

How easy is it to root the phone?

How easy is it to brick the phone?
Is there a way to unbrick the phone if it does get bricked?

If I successfully root it can I revert back to stock Android Sense easily like with the iPhone and jailbreak by reinstalling the OS?

Near enough impossable

If you Root your phone using the app, you can uninstall the app to "un-root"

Sense isn't removed during rooting

About the last question, what I mean is that can I make the phone look like it was before I rooted it with all the stock apps and stuff in case I get a problem with the phone?

With the stock apps, if you remove them using the exploit (within titainium) then they'll be gone forever...

..however, have a little search in the market, because you may be able to download them again.

When you root, you wont be changing the rom, just your access rights. SO it really depends what you do with the rights (eg, change the rom, remove stock apps or install "dodgy software" etc)
