For those that could possibly help me in this journey to root my EVO V 4G...I have been reading alot into rooting the EVO V 4G and it has me stressed out of what to do first. I read the S-OFF blah blah blah but what do you have to first?? Do you root the phone first? Is S-OFF required before you root?? I have no clue I came from the Triumph which was very easy to root. I don't want to brick my phone and have a $300 paper weight. If someone could give some insight to what you have to do first I'd like to have the Midnight rom on my phone instead of this stock rom. Thanks to anyone they may be able to help me down the journey, I know this community is very experienced and any help would be apprciated.
