Root Rooting Successful - Downloads not...

Hey ya'll.

Just rooted my phone, and was successful - Superuser visible.

Problem: My phone is not letting me download from the Marketplace. I am trying to get an application Root Explorer or the like, so I can rename some startup applications to free up some RAM, however every thing I try to get from the marketplace fails to download. I can visit web pages, load apps, play games, everything else is normal on my phone thus far, just the fact that the marketplace is not letting me download anything.

Not sure if this is related to the rooting, or if the marketplace is being stupid today.

Let me know what all you can do. If you need something else from me to help you get a better idea, please s-p-e-l-l it out for me, as I am not VERY tech savy.

Well... fudge. Maybe clear cache/dalvik cache?

Other than that --- a complete wipe/factory reset may be in order.

I had to do two on my DX last night.....

It doesn't really bother me, as Amazon works fine, just caught me off guard. I can go to the marketplace, choose any app, say "download" and I can see it trying to download when i drag the top drawer, but then it stops and errors. The error just says it is unable to download, nothing else.

Curious.....Maybe someone else will have some extra input.

Sorry I couldn't help.

After putting a new ROM on my phone, specifically "Super Clean version 2.9 - EB01/EB16 Froyo leak root+Froyo Clockworkmodwith MALWARE protection" the problem solved itself. No idea what it was.

Thanks again for your help!
