Root Rooting the Evo

right there is a step by step guide to rooting, flashing...etc....perfect guide with all the info you need....

but to answer your question, just plug your usb cable into your phone and computer, then when the prompt on your phone comes up, select disc drive....go into the c: drive of your computer and you should see a new drive that has come up....double click it and you'll see a bunch of folders...that is the ROOT of your sd card...just copy the su file and paste it in there...just make sure you DO NOT place it in any of the folders....
