ok so ... cleared all cache's, re-set again, signed back into google, downloaded the google play apk and installed, I am now downloading apps again so all is good with the world.. mebbe :)

ok..so
One more question. I have the root, google play updated and I downloaded a wifi tethering app. (several).. My laptop sees the hotspot and will connect but my tablet wont see it. Ive tried everything I know.... any ideas?
 
I'm not sure why you're tablet wouldn't see it. Which tablet do you have? Does it see other hotspots?
 
its the Google tablet by MID and yes it sees other hotspots. Had my boyfriend turn on his "legally" tmobile hotspot and it picked it up right away
 
I rooted my phone a few months ago and I really don't like it, is there any way to un root the phone? plese help before I break my phone lol
 
Does factory reset delete sd card data too?if it does could I remove the micro sd before reset?I'm probaly gonna wait till my phones older before I root it but I just wonder about this.
