Root Rooting Thoughts...

Ive had my Evo since January 2011, I love the phone, extremly enjoy the Android OS & have never rooted. Until recently , I ahve had what so many other Evo users have had, Memory issues, I find myself micro-managing every app, clearing browsers etc. just so i can use the phone. I now only have a small number of apps installed, most of which are installed on my SD card. I have been thinking of rooting because i hear that's the only way to clear up memory and space... So I guess my question is

A)Will rooting be my Answer to memory issues?

B)Is it worth it, or should i just wait for the next, best, powerful Android?

C)In general, is rooting great and needs minimal micro-managing?

D)Is their a way for an everyday partial savvy user to root w/o bricking?

Thank you to everyone in advance for your input.

Yes if you partition the sdcard to allow for apps to be moved over there using DT's a2sd Not the Apps2SD that is on the market.
B)Is it worth it, or should i just wait for the next, best, powerful Android?
Those of us who are rooted think its worth it.
C)In general, is rooting great and needs minimal micro-managing?
Not sure of what your asking here
D)Is their a way for an everyday partial savvy user to root w/o bricking?
Rooting generally does not brick your phone. The only thing I know of that can brick the phone is Radio Flashes that are interrupted.

A)Will rooting be my Answer to memory issues?

Yes, partitioning your card will allow you to move the whole app over to the card. The apps2SD built into the phone only moves part of it. For example, I have many large apps installed and I have over 300MB left in internal memory available.

B)Is it worth it, or should i just wait for the next, best, powerful Android?
Its like having a brand new phone all over again

C)In general, is rooting great and needs minimal micro-managing?
No micromanaging. Get it set up and you're good to go

D)Is their a way for an everyday partial savvy user to root w/o bricking?
The bricking chances are low, but with the newest OTA update rooting the phone is more in depth than prior root methods. If your ever thinkging about rooting a device, don't accept the OTA's.

Thank you to everyone in advance for your input.
Anytime :D

The answer is definitely yes to everything except the last question. To that I would say read, read and read some more. Then ask questions and keep asking them. You won't regret it if you decide to root.
