Root rooting tooting desire

well boys I'm at that stage.

gingerbread been running for few weeks but that message low on space keeps coming back like a bad smell!

I'm looking to root and use a rom which is stable, improve battery life and most importantly allow me to still run my dedicated satnav software Copilot live v8 and Squeezebox Commander for my Squeezebox wireless house.

someone suggested Redux.

Any other suggestions ? can you please pm me a install guide for any rom that meets the above criteria.

Thanks I'll have a read but what about my specific requirements and I forgot to
mention about bluetooth has to work for my car link.
 
All of your requirements will have no problems when rooted, you just need to read the rom guides prior to flashing them, some have had issues with GPS and things, but I ran redux for a good while and never had any issues with Bluetooth or GPS. But if you do try a rom that does pose problems you can simply change to another.

If you go with redux and create an ext partition you wont have any space issues, unless you have loads of apps that is, but you will definitely have far more storage than stock, just read the guides,
As for battery, redux is far far better than stock.
Look for a thread I started called redux battery life is amazing.
